Happy Independence Day: Week of July 4, 2010

Happy Independence Day, friends! As we celebrate our nation's birthday and consider the freedom and independence "for which it stands," I pray you also remember and give consideration to the freedom we have through Jesus Christ, and the gift of peace ("independence") we have from Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:1 says that "it is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free."
